Amendment is intended to clarify the Scope of the document. EN ISO 4833-2 specifies a horizontal method for enumeration of microorganisms growing on the surface of a solid medium after aerobic incubation at 30 degree C by surface plating technique. The method is applicable to products intended for human consumption or for animal feeding stuffs, environmental samples in the area of food and feed production and handling and samples from the primary production stage.
