In recognition of the variable nature of hazards with different uses of industrial robots this International Standard is divided into two parts. Part 1 provides guidance for the assurance of safety in design and construction of the robot. This revision replaces ISO 10218:2011 (DIN EN ISO 10218-1:2012).
