This standard provides guidance on levels of imperfections in arc-welded joints (beam welding excluded) for all types of steel, nickel, titanium and their alloys. It applys for material thicknesses over 0,5 mm. Levels of imperfections for beam welded joints contains ISO 13919-1. The levels of imperfections are specified in such a way that a broad application in production is possible. The quality levels of imperfections are classified by B, C and D, where B is the quality most difficult to achieve.
