This is the consolidated version of EN 13411-6:2004 and includes the amendment A1:2008 to the standard. This European Standard specifies the minimum requirements, for asymmetrical wedge socket terminations for stranded steel wire ropes. The annexes A and B give examples for suitable designs of asymmetric wedge sockets. Annex C gives instructions for safe use and inspection. The hazards covered by this standard are identified in clause 4.
