The present guideline specifies a standard reference method for the determination of PM10- and PM2,5- mass concentrations at stationary emission sources. The measurement method is especially suitable for measurements of particle mass concentrations below 20 mg/m3. It is proven method for the measurement in the waste gas of different installations like cement and steel production as well as incineration processes. This guideline is not applicable in case of waste gas saturated with water-vapour. It may not be used for the determination of the total mass concentrations of dust.
