What’s changed since the last updates?

BS ISO 440002 replaces BS ISO 11000-2 and reflects:

• ISO’s new high-level structure for management systems standards

• The experience gained by early adopters of BS ISO 44001

BS ISO 44001 started life as PAS 11000 Collaborative business relationships in 2006. It became BS 11000-1 in 2010 and is now an international standard. The opportunity to build on the experiences of BS 11000-1 has produced some rationalizations and greater clarity of requirements.

BS ISO 20400 is a new international standard. But it does cover much the same ground as BS 8903:2010 Principles and framework for procuring sustainably. Guide, which it replaced.
